 The Brass King (BK) is a Brooklyn native who is back in Newnan Georgia after his tour of Miami, Long Island and Atlanta living. A connoisseur of world music raised on the sounds of Motown, Fania, Stax, Blue Note Records and a living witness to the emergence of Hip Hop in New York (1980's), he developed DJ skills as a member of Miami’s original Plan Beats crew starting in the late 80’s. Even today, his crew is known for its uncompromising street style, shutting down streets in Miami’s Wynwood Art District with old school block parties during the early days of Art Walk

where BK kept the good vibes spinning on vinyl for

@historic_downtown_newnan & @mainstreetnewnan

for ‘The Spirits and Spice Event”. 

@simplyawesomeentertainment has presented Brass King from

@TownSquarePlayHouse alongside @JeraldDorsett,

to the @TheTriumphRoom and back to the @TheCellarNewnan. 

2023 will Bring Real and Soulful Sounds while

Kicking In Next Generations for BK and his soulful movement.
